Announcing our new subscription e-resources!
We are excited to introduce to you the new subscription resources (i.e. we pay, you benefit)
that the library is now providing access to starting today, July 1st.
We think these are great products, and we’re hoping you will find them useful. They are (drumroll please…)
A lot of people don’t know this, but we already provide access to Consumer Reports (the magazine) both in print and online (ask us to show you how). Now we’re also subscribing to their website, ConsumerReports.org. You’ll need to access this through this URL, otherwise you won’t get the content available to subscribers only.
CultureGrams is great for travelers and school assignments. You’ll find a lot of useful information about the countries of the world – things like culture, society, etiquette, customs, as well as economic information, climate data, etc. You can even find recipes! To access this product, visit our Databases A-Z page and scroll down to CultureGrams.
Mango Languages is a web-based language learning program, which means you can access it anywhere. Sign up for a free user account, and Mango will remember where you last left off for each language you’re learning. Mango has courses for 9 languages, and three ESL courses (for speakers of Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, and Polish).
To see all of the e-resources we subscribe to, visit our Databases A-Z page to find them listed alphabetically.
