100 best beach books ever
Recently, NPR listeners cast 136,000 votes on what they thought were the best beach books ever.

It’s interesting to read the comments talking about what defines a good “beach book.”
Some feel many books on the list are too heavy for beach reading, others say that’s the only time they have to concentrate on a “weightier” book. What do you think makes a good vacation read?
