Tune an International station…no static at all!
There are many news websites available online. We have posted previously what the library has to offer in the way of a great news resource.
But what if you want to listen to the news? (You can indeed listen to articles read to you through our PressDisplay database BTW, but that is not what I mean!)
Here are two websites to find streaming audio:
Think of them as a Internet based shortwave radios. Each site offers different ways to search for internet audio feeds, domestic stations and international broadcasters by location, format or music genre…
…or you can simply click on a link below to listen to an international broadcaster:
- BBC (British Broadcasting Company)
- VOA (Voice of America)
- DW (Deutsche Welle)
- NHK (Radio Japan)
- VOR (Voice of Russia)
- RNW (Radio Netherlands)
- RNZI (Radio New Zealand International)
