Brain drain

Well, it’s late in the afternoon here in the second floor librarians’ work room. We’re getting close to the end of the day (for those of us who aren’t working the evening shift tonight), and it shows. :) We need a blog post! But there’s some serious writer’s block going on. We’re not quite up to speed. And then it hit us. We need to improve our brain power. So with no further ado, here are some books to help us all do just that.

Carved in Sand: When Attention Fails and Memory Fades in Midlife
Where Did I Leave My Glasses?: The What, When, and Why of Normal Memory Loss
Making a Good Brain Great: The Amen Clinic Program for Achieving and Sustaining Optimal Mental Performance
Brain Rules: 12 Principles for Surviving and Thriving at Work, Home, and School
MemoryFitness: A Guide for Successful Aging
Magnificent Mind at Any Age: Natural Ways to Unleash Your Brain’s Maximum Potential

Want a (somewhat) related post? Check out Stretch your brain, which we wrote in July.
