Keep track of your investments online
One of the fun things about working at the library is telling a patron about something we’ve got and seeing them get all excited, because they didn’t know we have it.
This often happens when we tell people about the library’s subscription to Morningstar, a reputable investment research product. Because we subscribe to Morningstar, you don’t have to pay to access all sorts of great investment information.

Morningstar is easy to use, and covers a number of types of investments, including:
- Stocks
- Mutual funds
- ETFs (Exchange-traded funds)
Get ratings and analyst reports for all of these. You can also get analyses of different industries, or use their portfolio analysis tool.
Click here to access our subscription to Morningstar. The user name is Corvallis (make sure to capitalize the C), and the password is the first five digits of your library card number.
You can also find our link to Morningstar from the library homepage. Click on Databases, then Business and Investments.
