Ever find yourself looking for the next book in a series?  With some authors it is fairly easy.  With Sue Grafton for example, you can be fairly sure that B is for Burglary comes before C is for Corpse.   With other authors it can be fairly challenging, and sometimes even the date is not helpful due to reprints.  Novelist is here to help!  And it is free with your library card.

Another great site for finding about series and reading descriptions of book plots is fictiondb (http://www.fictiondb.com/). I use it’s book lists to create Excel spreadsheets of books by author and the series the author writes. I then mark the books that are available in the library with an “x” (uppercase for large type books!). I also record when I have read a book so I won’t check it out again thinking that I haven’t already read the book.
