Thinking about a career change?

Use Oregon Career Information System to explore education and financial aid options, learn about different occupations, and  get help with your job search.  It even contains information on military occupations and self employment as well.  This is a service that is free with your library card.

OCIS describes about 550 occupational categories covering 95 percent of the employment in Oregon and major kinds of work found elsewhere in the United States. Organized into 22 occupation clusters that provide a way of looking at occupations according to common functions,  it is particularly useful for career exploration and transition.
