You Don't Have to Beg
We have great resources for dog lovers at the library.
This week I am watching Dogtown New Beginnings, a National Geographic Channel production that chronicles the daily work at the Best Friends Animal Society in southern Utah. It is truly inspirational what these folks do in order to help the some of the neediest animals in the country. As a owner of a pound puppy (age 9) from Heartland Humane Society (see left) I am always a sucker for great animal stories.
Currently there are no holds on this DVD ( although I currently have it checked out…I promise to return it soon
) . I highly recommend it to anyone who loves dogs. It also got me thinking back over some of the great dog books I have read over the last few years. Here are a few of my favorites. And these are currently all available to check out.
