New Free App

Waiting in the doctor’s office and interested in checking into that medication you are taking? Wondering what you are going to do about the report your sixth grader forgot to mention? Want to find out more authoritative information about the companies your are invested in?
If you need to do some research and can’t make it to the library, we can now bring the library to you in a new way– whether you are in the doctor’s office, at your kitchen table or sipping coffee at a local cafe.
How does it work? The free Gale AML app finds your global position and locates libraries within a ten mile radius, giving you access to many of our electronic resources at any time. And the favorites feature allows you to bookmark the Corvallis-Benton County Library so you can get to us no matter where you are.
With this app you can find thousands of magazines, journals and newspapers covering a wide variety of topics including:
• Health care – discover dependable facts
• Environment – track the latest findings
• Biographies – from history and today’s headlines
• Literature – track a bestseller or write a term paper
• Science – Study current, credible research
• Hundreds of sources for home, school or business
Don’t have an iPhone or iTouch, no worries. You can always get access to these resources through our website.
