Top 10 things that make you go “wow!”
There are a couple of things I tell people about at the library that always get a good reaction. Everyone knows we have books. Most know we have DVDs, magazines, and books on CD. But here are the top ten things I tell people about the library that make them go “Wow, that’s great! I didn’t know that!”
- Learn a language online with Mango Languages
- Access the Consumer Reports subscription website
- Download ebooks and audiobooks
- Check out a Sony ebook reader
- Listen to an audiobook on a Playaway (pre-loaded digital audiobooks)
- Chat live with a second floor librarian online (link on the upper left of our homepage)
- Follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook
- Free wifi in the library, no password or login required
- Private study rooms on the second floor
- Did you know an average of 2,535 people came through our doors each day last fiscal year?

I do like making people happy when I tell them what the library offers. However, if there were less surprised faces it would mean more people know about us and all the great services we have, which can only be a good thing.
