St. Patrick's Day – electronically!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
We have, of course, lots of books about Irish history, cuisine, literature, travel, art, etc.
I took a look and a lot of these books are checked out already (especially the cookbooks), by all those people who are organized and plan ahead for their St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.
So for those of you who didn’t make it in time, here are a few ways you can celebrate St. Patrick’s Day and all things Irish using our fabulous online subscription resources.
- Stream some Irish folk music using our subscription to Smithsonian Global Sound (http://thebestlibrary.net > Databases > Music)
- Read up on Irish news using PressDisplay
- Research your Irish ancestors using Heritage Quest (http://thebestlibrary.net > Databases > Genealogy)
- Find some Irish fiction to read using our what-should-I-read-next database called NoveList (scroll down just a bit to find it) (http://thebestlibrary.net > Databases > Literature & Book Lists)
Enjoy! All you need to access these resources is your library card. If you have any questions, just ask.
PS. Did you see the White House dyed their fountain green today?
