Digital bookmobile party!
There’s a 74 ft. long tractor-trailer coming to the Corvallis library! It’s so big that we need to shut down Jackson St. behind the library. Mark your calendars for Wednesday, May 13th, 10am to 6pm.
This huge truck is a digital bookmobile, and it drives all over the country promoting the digital audiobook and video downloads you have access to as a card-carrying member of our library through our Library2Go service. It’s only making three stops in the state – Corvallis is one of them.
This is going to be a really fun event. The bookmobile is outfitted with everything you need to see what’s available for digital download (audiobooks, video), and to try it out!
In addition, there will be:
- Face painting for the kids: 10am – noon, and 3pm – 5pm
- Free gelato starting at 1pm (while supplies last)
- Enter drawings for a copy of Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii), and mp3 player, and more!
