New non-fiction added in the last month
Below is a small selection of the new non-fiction titles we’ve added in the last four weeks. Most are on the shelf already, some are still on order. All the book cover images are linked to our catalog, so you can place holds if you’re interested.
And if you’re wondering why we don’t have that big July bestseller in our catalog yet, don’t worry – it should be there soon. Read more about it here.

What about the excellent works from Stephen Few which you so graciously added to your collection at my behest? Certainly the subject of information visualization and display attract less hype at the moment, but there is a certain enduring quality which can be appreciated… perhaps in some other blog post about what non-fiction patrons are requesting, and your speculation about what that might mean for the local economy or cultural life.
To be honest, this was a rather random selection of titles out of a very long list of recent additions.
I like your idea about doing a post on non-fiction patron requests – I will think of how to get a list of those going.
