2011-2012 Random Review Schedule

The new Random Review schedule has just been announced!  On the second Wednesday of each month, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm in the Library’s Main Meeting Room, a different book will be reviewed by a community member.  Coffee, tea, and cookies will be served, and you are free to bring your lunch.

Married . . . in the city and the ‘burbs

If it’s summer people must be getting married.  I just heard that New York City, expecting a record number of marriages to take place in the city this Sunday, has instituted a lottery to determine who will get one of 764 marriage licenses available for that day.
