I can’t believe September is around the corner already! Where has this summer gone? We can help you ease the transition into fall with a great music event coming up in September.

Spring is here (more or less), and for many people, that means baseball. What does baseball have to do with libraries you ask? Well, besides our baseball book, DVD, and video game collections, we have a baseball author talk coming up in May.

That is a awfully cheesy title for the post – I apologize. But it’s true! The annual model train show will be at the library next weekend.

The eighth annual Tcha Tee Man Wi Storytelling Festival, with public performances February 18-21, promises another weekend of both traditional and unique entertainment and workshops for adults, and matinees for children. Most events workshops are in Corvallis, and free.

This coming Thursday, February 25th, at 7 pm, the library is proud to host the first Spring Creek Café, put on by the Spring Creek Project at OSU. The Friends of the Library do a great job locating presenters for their wildly popular book review series Random Reviews.

We have an exciting music-themed event coming up, to help you chase those winter blues away. John Sarantos will present a Native and world flute mini-concert and lecture at the Corvallis library on Saturday, January 30th at 3 pm.

Exciting news! Ted Cox, local author and the owner of Old World Deli, has a new book out. He’ll be presenting it at the library on Wednesday, December 9th at 7 pm.
