Tom McClintock’s history of the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library has been a long time coming. He was asked to do the project for the library’s 1999 Centennial, but it ended up taking 10 years to complete.
Here is our very own History of Benton County by David D. Fagan in ebook form! We have a paper copy in reference and an all name index in the library too. This title is a go-to standard for local history.
The Oregon State Library released the Oregon 150 Booklist yesterday, to celebrate Oregon’s sesquicentennial. (I am such a pro at spelling that word by now.)
