Library2Go, the state’s shared downloadable ebook and audiobook collection is one of the most popular in the country.  We are second only to New York Public Library in the number of holds per title.

We have eight Sony PRS-300 ereaders to loan. If you have been waiting to try an ebook reader, now is the time. They are available at the Second Floor Reference Desk and the loan period is two weeks.

We have been hearing from happy people discovering our Kindle compatible library ebooks! This is new for us all, so we have created some help pages to guide you through the process. Frustrated at not finding available ebooks in Library2Go to check out? We’ve just added more Advantage titles – copies that are available just for Corvallis patrons, including a copy of Smokin’ Seventeen by Janet Evanovich, Doc by Mary Doria Russell and the Oregon Experiment by Corvallis’ own Keith Scribner.

Not only are we offering another download clinic this Saturday [June 11th @ 3-4PM] but librarians are available to help with your specific download questions or troubleshooting.

Earlier this month we posted about the Advantage Program which allows us  to purchase additional copies of  downloadables just for Corvallis-Benton Co. library patrons.

One of the biggest complaints we hear about Libray2Go is that there aren’t enough books available to check out.   We hear you!  

It has been a big news week for downloadable eBooks, audiobooks and video at our library.  Kindles, and new apps, oh, my!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
